I was taking a break from blogging for a while. Mostly because Mark is the only one pretty much — aside from spammers — who reads my posts. Also, I haven’t had anything to blog about lately. I still don’t, but I feel bad for not posting since May.

What have I been up to?

Working, sleeping, I got a cat. He’s pretty awesome.

Mark and I got our own place again….

I still have nothing important to really say. I sleep on my days off, I don’t go anywhere hardly, and I have no friends here still. Facebook is starting to get really depressing because I get to see how all my old friends are happy, going to parties etc. Whereas I’m sitting in a dark room in front of a computer screen often drinking alone late at night. I should also point out that none of my friends interact with me anymore.

*sigh*

Work isn’t much better. Sometimes I have to force myself out of bed just so I can go and get a paycheque so I know the bills will be paid. Although, since I don’t buy anything for myself, ever, I have enough money in my bank to be jobless for about 6 months.

I thought about making local friends from the internet, but everyone here is rude, cruel, and they all are alcoholics pretty much.

Mark doesn’t want me to smoke weed anymore, and I haven’t for a year now.

I’m always worried and stressed out.

I don’t feel like writing anything else.

I’ve been thinking about deleting my blog….

We’ll see how that goes.

So Yesterday was my one year anniversary with Mark.

We’ve been looking at houses, so that’s what we did. It was pissing rain and we looked at houses that were out of our price range.
Apparently the mortgage person he went to go see made a mistake and told him that he could get a house worth $100,000 more than what we really can afford.

I’ve started a new shift from 7:15 – 5:15pm and 8-8pm on weekends. I’m not used to it at all and I never know when my breaks are.

I’ve been really tired lately. I go to bed early and I wake up late. I don’t every feel like doing anything and I’ve had a headache all week.

My trip to BC was okay I guess. It was the first time I went on a plane ever. I didn’t get to see most of my friends…. so that was a little disappointing. Whatever, I figured as much. And going back to a small town was strange.

Yesterday I had to use a map to navigate around Winnipeg. which was a good idea until I needed to navigate to a part of town that I had only been to 3 times before…. ever.

I’m just in a bad mood as usual. *sigh*

by the way, I just got out of bed.

I’ve been going to Lurking Glass more, simply because I’m bored and there’s nothing else to do.

If I knew I wasen’t going anywhere today I’d just go sit in a corner and drink booze right from the bottle….

I don’t remember the last time I posted.

In fact, I don’t really give a shit.

I’ve been depressed and totally anti-social.

I’m going to BC to visit friends and family on Sunday…
I have a feeling it’s not going to be as I planned.

I’m kinda pissed because tax shit is due on the 30th and I’m missing half my shit.

I don’t really care about anything except sleeping anymore.

fuck everything.

I’ve been busy…

Hopefully soon-ish I’ll redo my blog some. It’s getting pretty boring looking… and I don’t have time to blog as much now because of my work. On my days off I’d rather be lazy, than think of stuff to talk about.

So, hopefully SOON I start working on it…. along with a bajillion other things I want to do but end up not doing.

Mark took me to a comedy club last night… it was pretty fun! ^__^
I had a few drinks…. and I’ve had some wine tonight, so I apologize for any spelling errors I don’t catch, seriously… I’m like trying right now.. like really hard…. hahahahahaha.

Happy 2009 Everyone.

The pictures were taken the day before my 20th birthday when we were getting ready to go out to dinner.

Nothing really exciting has happened lately…

I turned 20…
I worked alot…
I tried shopping around for tattoo prices….

Yesterday the iPod I got Mark to order for me off the Apple website arrived. I gave him the money to buy me an iPod for a birthday present to myself. It has my name engraved on the back of it. I LOVE it! I’ve wanted an iPod since they came out. It’s a 16GB iPod Nano…. one of those new ones where you  can shake to shuffle… It’s a little harder to change songs that way compared to how they showed it on tv. But it’s got the sweetest game ever on it called Maze. You just tilt the iPod it’s self to move the little ball through the maze. It’s kinda like those cheap wooden ones that are made in China.

I’ve been looking around for prices for a tattoo. All the places around here start at $120 dollars. I just want two little stars, one behind each ear. They wouldn’t be any larger than a quarter maybe…. not even. So I don’t think it will cost that much to get them done. But I’ll keep looking for a good place to get them done. My mom suggested that I go to the same place in Saskatchewan where she got hers done. *shrugs* We’ll see.

I’m going to try and get some time off in May to go back to BC for a few days so I can see my family and friends. I kinda wish I could be there now, one of my friend’s is having a tough time. Her stepdad who she hasen’t gotten along with very well ever could be dying. She’s so upset, and I wish there was more I could do for her. He’s a great guy, and I haven’t seen him much over the last few years…. and I’d want to see him again just in case he does pass away.

I don’t know if I mentioned in my last post or not, but Mark got me D&D mini’s to paint for Christmas. I’ve been painting those… and you can tell that I’m really new to it. Speaking of D&D, I haven’t been able to play again for a while. They stopped briefly over the Christmas holidays… and last week at the bookstore I noticed they were playing, but I didn’t have my D&D stuff to join them. They’re going to be there again on the 20th, but I work that night. *pout*

I  kinda wanna change my hours if I can at work. Right now I work Noon-10pm on weekdays and 10am-10pm on weekends. The hours sucks, but I do like all the people on the night shift. I put a word in the the manager on Monday, which was my Friday. And I just talked to Mark on the phone, he says she just got fired. So I’ll have to ask one of the 3 supervisors at work if I can do that.

I should continue looking for Bridesmaid Dresses. I kinda forgot until yesterday that my sister asked me to be her Maid of Honour. Woot! Gothic wedding FTW! ^__^
It’ll all be practice for when I get married.

Hey.

Yeah, so staying away from the internet only worked for 21 days. I got so bored that I had nothing else to do.

I guess I had an alright Christmas, I worked it. From the 24 – 27 I pretty much came home and drank booze after each shift.
Saturday I worked my first 12 hour shift. It sucked balls.

Luckily I have New Years off… I’d hate to work then as well.

I’m going to make a hair appointment in the next few days to get my hair done. I have alot of split ends and it’s time I got one anyways. It looks like I’ll have to hold off on growning my hair out until it’s not so dry.

I miss my friends from home, like alot. This is the first Christmas in several years that I haven’t spent with my friend Nicole. We always had a thing where we’d hang out on Christmas day after all the presents and stuff.

Mark just phoned from work, he reminded me to go into the phonebook and look up the phone number for that hair place.

Hey,

I know I haven’t blogged in like, a month or something. I’ve been busy with my new job.

I work with Mark now.. (in a different department of course) and when I come home I’m really tired.
That, and I haven’t had anything interesting to blog about at all.

Anyways, I’m taking a break from everything computer related as of tomorrow Dec 1/2008.
I’ve never tried it before, and I think it’s about time I tried living in the real world. I think this will also give me time to decide what to do with my blog… and if I should even keep it (since I haven’t been blogging). I think when I return in January, I’ll be removing a bunch of names off my blogroll. Half of the links don’t post, and it has absolutely no benefit to me.

In other news, I’ve been feeling very pessimistic and depressed lately. I don’t really know what has me down… but lately I just kinda wanna hang out by myself. I think it’s the time of year maybe… I always get down around winter…

Anyways, I just thought I’d tell everyone what was going on.

Well, I haven’t blogged in a while…

I’ve been busy, and I haven’t really had much to blog about lately.

The job I got last month… I stopped going to it. I was Tech Support… or at least, I was in training for that. I finished all the days of training, and the day after I was going to be on the floor taking calls (It was a call center), I really didn’t want to be doing that…. so I stopped going.

At least I met a few more people. The only people I’ve been hanging out with are Mark, his family, and his two friends. So now I have a few people I can hang out with… although I haven’t yet. The closest is when I went to meet one of them to purchase some weed.

I’ve been looking for other jobs. I applied for a city job where I’d still be working at a call center. The interview was on Tuesday. It was the first time I ever lied at a job interview. I had to call my mom after and get her to pretend she was a previous employer in BC, just so it would look good. I also had a job interview yesterday too at a bookstore. I think I might have a better chance with that one, the interviewer and I joked alot. I’ve been so desperate to find other jobs that I applied at Tim Hortons. That’s just as bad as Wal-Mart in my mind.

Mark and I were looking for apartments for a while, and then we stopped… now we’re kinda looking at one. One of his moms co-workers has a condo, and she sent an email around the office. Mark’s mom sent the email to him… so we might end up renting a condo near his parent’s place that we haven’t even looked at yet. Anything is better than our current place. The heat only came on last week. It was SO cold! We were sleeping with at least 4 blankets on the bed, and we were always clothed. The heat keeps working off and on, it depends on weather or not the hot water is working… half the time it isn’t. Today it was so hot in the apartment though that I was just walking around in just panties and a bra for a while.

Last weekend we went to the Manitoba Comic Con. It was so much fun! I got an autograph from the guy who played Q, and I could have gotten one from the guy who played Geordi LaForge too, but it was so expensive compared to the others. Mark got an autograph from Lou Ferrigno, and Kurt Busiek. Kurt Busiek totally checked out my rack, and he tried to hide it very well by commenting on the Batman shirt I wore. Apparantly it had the same colour scheme of a character called Metamorpho… and he was asking me if it was intentional because Batman worked with him at some point. I had no idea what he was talking about… but Mark was all happy that his favourite writer was hitting on me. *shrugs* Men.

I’ve been thinking that my blog needs a new look. I dunno what to do with it though… I’ll probably get Mark to help me with it. The changes might not be for a while though.

That pretty much sums up everything I’ve been up to for a while…

Oh wow, I haven’t blogged in a while….

…Sorry.

Anyways… I finally got a job. I started training for it last night. I’m going to be tech support for Comcast. My training classes are at night from 4-11:30pm. I was so tired when Mark came to pick me up! I was stupid and I didn’t wear my glasses when we started doing computer work.

Mark and I were looking for new apartments, but we decided we’d stay in our slummy one so we can save money. We have a really bad mould problem in the bathroom though.. So hopefully we’re not here for too much longer.

It’s been getting really cold here. I need to get a coat soon… All I have is light hoodies. I was talking with one of the girls I met yesterday at my class, and she said it was warm right now….

Ugh… I’m sooo tired… I just wanna go back to bed…
I have to go do the dishes though..
